Indigo Dyeing Workshop @ Culler Studio

Join Culler Studio's Sara Ashford this Saturday, July 27, for an indigo dyeing workshop from 10am-2pm. Learn about one of nature's most beautiful and complex natural dyes. Sun Printing on Fabric

Take a stroll outside to gather objects from nature to create

Cyanotype prints are a fast, easy printing technique that uses the summer sun. These beautiful rich blue and white prints work well with enlarged photo negatives as well as flat objects like leaves and petals.

The brighter the sun = the faster the exposure = the richer the blue.Some fabric provided or bring your own light colored, cotton fabric. These fabric prints would make beautiful patio flags, a fun t-shirt or tablecloth.

Books and Buttons with Laura Gunnip

10am-2pm in the Confluence classroom.

Work in groups and individually to create a variety of single page fold books with printing stamps and found objects. Make tiny pop-ups and centerfolds to trade and keep. Make your own accordion style book with hand printed covers. Then, make buttons and stickers with collage, words, typewriter, stamps, drawing and printing to trade and keep!

Garden Art with Sarah Fox

JUL 31- AUG 2
10am-2pm in the Confluence classroom.

In this camp, you will collect rocks and driftwood to be painted with faces, stripes, patters, and bold colors to display in your garden. You will create stepping stones and make garden bells with painted terracotta pots. Enjoy playing at the Twisp Park, taking nature walks, and finding inspiration in your surroundings.

Jewelry Making Extravaganza with Sarah Fox

AUG 7-9
10am-2pm in the Confluence classroom.

This camp will give you an introduction to bead making, felted jewelry, and creating jewels with recycled and natural objects. You will mix, color and shape beads. You'll make beads out of paper and fabric. Create beads and bangles using felt. Transform recycled household objects into bracelets, explore the beauty of aluminum cans, turn them into silver rings, and more!

Street Music Band with Danbert Nobacon

AUG 14-16
10am-2pm in the Confluence classroom.

In this camp you will have an introduction to music and songwriting, pop song composition and arrangement for the street format. You will learn the basics of street performing, and fashion costumes out of recycled materials. Write and perform your songs in the streets of Twisp. This camp is a wonderful opportunity to work as a team to create a performance for the public!

Mindful Cross-Training: Yoga For an Active Lifestyle.
