The Methow Valley Clay Art Center is bringing nationally renown ceramicists Seth Charles and Deb Schwartzkopf to TwispWorks for a three-day event filled with live demonstrations, artist meet and greets, and interactive studio sets. This event is free and open to the public!

Events will kick off on Thursday, August 8th, with a 6pm potluck/meet and greet at the Methow Valley Clay Art Center in the North Warehouse on the TwispWorks campus. Come to meet the artists and share in some delicious food and drink!

On Friday, August 9th, Seth Charles and Don Ashford will give a live demonstrations from 10am-5pm. Seth will share his techniques and answer questions while he works, and participants can come to watch, listen, or work on a pottery wheel themselves. The day will end with a "pass the hat" question and answer session with Seth. Snacks and drink provided.

On Saturday, August 10th, Deb Schwartzkopf will give a live demonstration from 10am-5pm. Deb is an internationally known ceramicist and ceramics teacher, with experiences spanning from China to the Chugach. She will spend Saturday giving live demonstrations of her techniques and talk about her experiences as an artist. Her pottery will also be available for purchase. A question/answer session with Deb will follow the demonstration.
