JUN 8 - JULY 27

Many exceptional artists, enthusiastic to show their interpretations of the pictureesque Methow Valley, invite you to an exhibit of their work at the Confluence Gallery in Twisp. Artists include Ed Maher, Robert Nelson, Michael Caldwell, Mary Powell, Sue Marracci, Rich Davis, Suzanne Powers, Rod Weagant, Kathy Meyers, Charlene Monger, Donna Keyser, Patty Yates, Paula Christen, Caryl Campbell, Nora egger, and Gene Berkley.

The new show, "Interpreting the Methow, Plein Air to Studio" features artists whose enthusiasm for painting begins outdoors "en plein air". The field studies painted outdoors caprture the essences of light, shadow, color, and mood during the excitement of that moment in time. Taken to the studio, these field studies create the platform used to transform them into larger gallery pieces. The new show will demonstrate this intricate process by displaying the final plein air pieces alongside their original studies.

An opening reception will be held in conjuction with the Twisp Art Walk on June 8. 4-8PM.
